Roof Rack Cross Bars for Volvo EX90

After placing my order for cross bars for a 2025 Volvo EX90, I received an email asking me to take some measurements of my car and provide them to EVS Titan. This was concerning because they should already have the dimensions if they're offering the product for Volvo EX90. EVS Titan told me that this was because they were concerned "that dimensions may vary by country, currently there are several versions of this global model." However, I know that the dimensions of EX90 does not change by market or location. I provided EVS Titan with the dimensions and a short time later, I received info that the product had shipped. It turns out that "shipping from the closest warehouse" means shipping from China. The product was packaged well and shipping was fairly quick. I have no problem with this.
I went to install the bars to find that the rear bar fit perfectly but the front bar was clearly too long. I adjusted the set screws on both ends of the cleat/bar and moved them inward as far as they would possibly go - making the bar as short as it could possibly be. The bar was still at least an inch too long to fit on my car. I contacted EVS Titan to inform them. They told me that it was improper installation. I explained that I have adjusted the bar as short as it will possibly go, I placed the bar at the widest part of the roof and the bar is still over an inch too wide. EVS Titan asked for pictures to confirm. I provided pictures showing that the bar is clearly too long and showing that the inserts were adjusted all the way in, making the bar as short as it would possibly go. The response I received back disregarded the images and my comments that I already adjusted the bar length as short as it would go. The response was a video showing me how to adjust the bars to make them shorter, which I already did. I am extremely frustrated with this purchase and with this company's inability to properly communicate and resolve the problem.
