Fiddling required but overall easy installation

Bought Starray version. The installation video showing how to connect the lighting to existing light globe is incorrect. You need to get the panel pulled to access the connection. Once this is done, the rest is a child play. The end result is great, now I can see the whole boot.

Why isn’t this a standard accessory-perfect

Point 1. Getting the existing light fitting out is a real pain. I ended up pushing my fingers behind the plastic that the light is fitted into and pushing on the left hand side - the vertical side of the fitting close to the boot opening. It took about an hour and 4 attempts
Point 2. Once the light fitting was out, it took about 5 minutes to complete the installation.
Point 3. This is perfect. I can now see what is in the boot when it is dark

Lighting 4 Star could be brighter Installation difficult but much easier using and independent utube installation . Maybe i should have bought the full one
